When I work with children, I ALWAYS work with the parents as well. I don't believe that children have the power to change their family system. Therefore, I ask for parents to be heavily involved in the therapeutic process. My passion is to help parents better learn their children so they can learn to translate their children to the world and the world to their children. I call this "translation parenting." I want every family to develop a way of living that best suits their family. As God created each person unique, I believe that each family will also be unique. My goal is for families to lean into their own rhythm of life that allows each person space to be the person God created them to be.
